There is nothing new about a child with autism having difficulty forming relationships unless you are not aware that the child is autistic. When several of these symptoms are combined and severe, then it could be autism, but when they are not, it could be anything else. You may find that this does not seem to impair their intelligence or communication, so it is not likely to be autism.
